And this coming week:
Mon 23rd Baked tattie with cheese, tuna and HM coleslaw/cheese and HM coleslaw followed by lemon pudding and cream
Tue 24th Mini toad in the holes with chips and cauli, courgette and carrot gratin followed by instand whip (a cheap Tesco one I won't likely buy again but need to use up)
Wed 25th [strike]Split pea and vegetable soup and HM rolls[/strike] HM sausage and onion pizza (no onion for DS) followed by fruit salad and cream
Thur 26th Crispy chicken, winter wedges and LO cauli, courgette and carrot gratin followed by fruit salad and cream
DH brekkie is sarnies at work, mine is cereal and DS's is HM fruit porridge/cereal/toast.
Lunches will be either soup, cheese on toast/muffins, sausage butties or something involving eggs (the meatier lunches tend to fall on the more veggie based dinner days ifswim).
My snacks are bananas, apples, grapes, yogs, biccies, DH is same but kiwis, satsumas, grapes as his fruit.
Treats are HM marshmallow roll, crisps, digestives (not too many though)- less of these on pudding days!
DS (20 months) meals are pretty much like ours and snacks are grapes, raisins, prunes, yoghurts, biccies, bread sticks, cheese.
Drinks are juice/water (me), tea/juice (DH), milk/water/dilute juice (DS).
Have a good week all.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Here goes
Saturday - Tukey chilli with rice -
for 7 year old turkey chilli with out the chilli - ours is too spicy
Sunday - Roast Chicken, mashed pots, brocolli, carrots & peas
chopped fruit & fromage frais
Monday - Creamy chicken bake, salad, fresh bread
Tuedsay - Spaghetti bolognese, fresh bread
pancakes, lemon juice & sugar - I'd need to cook a mountain for us a main meal
Wednesday - Lentil & Chickpea casserole with veg
rice pudding (home made)
Thursday - Satay chicken & vegetable rice
for 7 year old - chicken breast & vegetable rice - our dish is too spicy
Friday - one pot lamb casserole
We are 4 adults and a 7 year old - sometimes our main meal isn't really suitable for him - usually because it is too spicy - so it normally gets adapted like the chilli and the chicken satay
Breakfasts - normally toast/porridge with dried fruit - sometimes we have a cooked breakfast at the weekend, if we have cooked there is no lunch. And not everyone eats breakfast in the house, 2 usually take breakfast to work.
Lunches - 7 year old back at school next week - sandwiches (tuna/cheese/peanut butter/ham)
yoghurt, fruit and a biscuit - takes crisps sometimes but says he doesn't have time to eat them!
Adults, sandwiches, fruit & yoghurt, sometimes soup - definitely soup this week -
made a huge pot of vegetable soup on Thursday and froze in individual portions - I had a fridge & veg rack clear out and normally would have just thrown out the hairy carrots, wilted leeks, wrinkly swede, soft peppers, sprouting potatoes, but threw them in a pan instead, shoved in a few peas and some onions. I think I made about a gallon of it!!0 -
I had to go on the second page to find this, sheesh!
OK here goes better late than never
Meals - decided not to do an order yet as I need a slight flexibility next week, but each day will be one of these for the main meal.
Chicken dinner
Chicken curry & rice
Sausages - unsure what with yet
Fish with sauce, grilled fish for the boys
Pork loin something......looking for inspiration at the mo on recipe pages
Spag bol & garlic bread
Scampi, chips and peas
Lunches sandwiches, soups, toasties (packed lunches for DSs and sandwiches for DP for work). Breakfasts cereals, toast, waffles, muffins. Snacks - fruit, raisins, yoghurts, will make some cookies too I think. We're not a pudding eating family really but I do have some baking apples, might make a crumble or something with those.
For those meals, considering I have rice/pasta/ebly/couscous and I think enough spuds for whatever I decide to do with the 'unsures' I will need - veg, fruit, bread, fruit juice, cereals, eggs. One day I might be more organised...........
