Life is but a dream....
Can I just confirm that you are getting your CITB grant?
Also, you can claim other grants from them...which might assist in helping to make end meet. I help construction companies for a living, so i can help you to get more money if you are interested.
PM me if so.
Thanks - yes we are getting the grant - everything is fine at the moment - we are paying him a wage which we can afford, it is just when he goes on to minimum wage in Sept. Because is is 24 we have to pay him thefull minimum wage.0 -
Yes, dyslexia would make a difference to how he learns (written instructions could well be all but useless, depending on how severe it is, for example!) and it can also affect organisational skills. While he's still at college would probably be the best time to check out whether there are strategies which would help your DH show him things. And if he has extra help at college, finding out what and why could be useful. Talking to his tutor / their learning support team could be very useful.Lifeisbutadream wrote: »I have found out over th eweekend that he is dislexic (sp?) - I have no idea whether this has any bearing on how he learns, but it has made us think.
OH is very patient with him anyway, so it might just mean that he needs a little bit longer to learn..
A quick google didn't alert me to one website being better than another for employers!Signature removed for peace of mind0
