Hello - first post.
Has anyone had any experience of the company Movemakers based in Aylesbury?
They are one of these companies that get your property valued and then make you a cash offer. Their letter/brochure looks impressive enough, but are you likely to get a decent offer.
Thanks.
P.S. I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Depends on what you call decent. I would expect a maximum of 70% of OMV maybe less.0 -
Has anybody had any experience of offers received by MoveMakers since this thread was started? I've just had their brochure through the door and am wondering if it's worth a go...0

Are they regulated yet?
Stay away. reduce the price with an ea.0 -
Thanks poppysarah - think I will avoid it.0

Just had a brochure from them myself... can't find any information about them online.
Seem a bit mysterious...0 -
I know this is an old thread but it comes up in a Goolge search for "Movemakers".
Not much else out there except their sales pitch.
Just wondering how they got hold of my details.
I am not in a rush to sell, do not need to free up equity and not in a chain (I will rent while I look for my next home) and wish these people would not contact me uninvited.0 -
Hello
My Mum is keen to sell her home and move to us, but in the current climate, things are just not happening, despite her having reduced her asking price quite a lot.
I can see it was a long time ago that this thread was started, so I wondered whether anyone has any experience of this company??
Many thanks for reading this

Just been sent a flyer from this company and decided to give them a ring. Don't bother if you are thinking of selling to them they will only pay 3/4's of the value of your house. I'm sure if I wait abit longer I will get abit more than that. My advice is stay away from them1

I know this is an old thread - but I have been trying to sell my house for 3 years, and Movemakers could be the answer. I know I'll have to take a hit on the price - so - has anyone out there actually used them?1
