Question Regarding Cash ISA

I have never tried these ISA's accounts and am very eager to get one setup before April 05 (so that I can have another one later in the year).

What my plan is, would be to place £2000 in the ISA just before April 05, however can I add more cash to this ISA after that, so in about June I have filled it up to £3000? I want to open another ISA in September and immediately place £3000 into that one you see.

I am just unsure if I can insert £2000 just before April though, then add to it after? Can this be done?

You can only put in whatever you like up to £3000 to the end of this tax year (5 April '06)
Any payments on or after 6 April '06 will count as a new tax year

Nope - cut-off is 5th April, then you can start another one (max of £3k per Tax Year).
