Internet Explorer - patches are released in a comparable speed to that of any "open source" campaign.
Take a look at linux, M$ cant compete with the speed of releases and innovation. For exery one M$ personnel working on a given project there are 100s of open source guys working for free.0 -

Was it not just before Christmas that Microsoft were telling people to use another browser as they had discovered that nasty XML exploit? It took them a whole week to release a patch! And that was unusual as Microsoft doesn't really like to release out-of-cycle patches, they have a timetable they like to keep to.

Agreed, if it was the other way around and Linux was getting plagued with Viri then the complaints about the O/S would be the complete opposite.
Is that Viruses you meant try finishing your words before sprouting such cr*p.
Linux's security makes it almost impossible for a virus to run let alone do what they do to windozzzze.0 -
