Internet Explorer for a Microsoft Platform, Firefox for a Linux Platform.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

What has a list of websites that haven't been changed to be compliant with the way IE8 now enforces standards in the way that IE7 never did be of any relevance to the question in hand?0 -
I mealy showing that IE8 has flaws and that there is a long list of web sites that aren't compatible. Never have any issues with firefox0

The reason they're not compatible is because the browser hasn't been released yet, I'm sure the people responsible for ensuring compatibility for their sites are working on a schedule to update to coincide with the release of IE8.
All browsers have flaws, it's niave to think otherwise.0 -
I never said browsers dont have flaws, but some more than others. Firefox tends to be more secure due to the open sourcing and or scammers tend to target the most popular browser
Admittedly IE is better than it use to be
Firefox is better because of the many plugins which can make it more secure too0 -
