Hi, was wondering if anybody knows about investing in wood.
I have looked at a few companys offering up to 25 year investments in teak
and the returns seem very handsome, and tax free.
Cant find out much info on the companys themselves though.
Anyone had any experience? thanks

Can't tell you much about it except be very careful who you invest with. "Prime Forestry Group" turned out to be a large scale international scam with Mafia connections and I heard some companies in India doing a runner with the money and never planting any trees.
If, as you say, you can't find much information on the companies you were thinking of investing with then that would sound warning bells to me.0 -
Risk-free handsome returns? They don't exist.0
