Unlocking of NON-nokia phones!

After some discussion with our three MSE "resident" unlockers we decided to try opening the previously locked thread containing codes to other makes of phones.
As it seems that every day there is a new mobile phone launched that someone wants unlocked another thread is started for that particular model without a search being done. (I am aware that the search facility is not always easy to use!)
All of this means that often the same question is asked and answered several times in a week.
What I need from you all is some suggestions on how to keep the Mobile Board tidy but still remaining as helpful as we possibly can keep it.
The Free Unlocking Codes for Nokias, generally works well and I will probably start a new one fairly soon as the longer it gets it means that users don't actually read the first post where the instructions are.
Perhaps the way to go would be for your suggestions to be posted here then we can do a poll as to the way forward, provided the suggestions are do-able.

Maybe a pinned index thread with links to the others?
But as you suggest, there is nothing that guarantees people will actually read anything without just posting their own individual thread, and leaving you to merge it on to another thread - which might make newbies think theirs had disappeared - or other people to reply to look in another thread
... so I'm nearly useless for suggestions really 0
