I've checked this font and whilst the site says:

Is there a text file downloaded with the TTF file that says if you can use it free of charge?

I've searched on the web and found this thread which is disputing the font you want to use and suggesting it is based on a copyrighted font. I doubt you'd get involved in this unless you are using it for something really really prominent but your printer may be more cautious.

well ill save thatlink then if theresany come back i can use it as that person says they made it and we can feely use it .

im gouing to look in my old archive boxes from the old office im sure i have paintshop pro maybe i can adapt it enough for my logo.

aaah.. the wonder of dafont, i love that site...

you need some image editing software, where you can start with a new file, and type, and then save as, Photoshop is what most people will use but that is expensive.

also, for printers, they'll probably prefer a TIFF, as it isn't compressed, and then you need to make sure it is 300dpi, rather than the standard 72dpi.

Mark how do i change the DPI ? i have saved it as a jpeg but i havent a clue about changing the dpi

Control Panel, Fonts .... then install the font.

Open any new document, type something and format it to use the new font.

Or just send the font (ttf file) to your designers/printers.

Most printers want a PDF, so just create whatever it is you want, print to PDF and send the PDF.

Key is .... you need to install the font on your PC via Control Panel
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
