You Equip It Scam

Has anyone been contacted by this company offering insurance on an iPhone for £99 only to find out its a scam? If so have you made any headway with redress or succeeded in getting any money back. I never fall for scams and cant believe I was so stupid. This scam came to light because at five months old my daughters phone died. When I took it to Carphone Warehouse they told me it wasnt insured. I looked up on my bank statement who I had paid the £99 to then looked them up on the internet. Carphone Warehouse had been aware of the scam for some time prior to me purchasing the phone and were not warning customers of the hazards. My daughter was issued with a temporary O2 number and this was the number quoted over the phone by the guy from You Equip It Ltd within 2 hours of getting the phone. Carphone Warehouse or O2 are leaking numbers to this scam artist company and are making a lot of money. If you have any information please contact me. The silve lining in this is that the phone was under warranty so was replaced without charge and I was able to insure it in store with Carphone Warehouse.
