Have a look in this Sundays paper. There was an 2 page advert in last week Sunday Mail for ? Promotions. Sorry Im not being more helpful but Ive thrown the paper away.
They had deals on three of the seafront hotels near the central pier. They included free drinks and entertainment and some meals plus free travel passes and were very reasonable.
If I remember the name I will post it or maybe someone will come along that does.

We found these holiday flats, they are right on the seafront in between tower and south shore stretch. As you can see parking isnt too difficult.
We are hopefully staying here during the summer months.

    Have you looked at http://www.haven.com/parks/north_wales_blackpool/marton_mere/onthepark/index.aspx
prices are from £184 for 4 nights on the dates you want, might be more than you were planning on paying, but this incl all entertainment, swimming pool, etc think there is a bus that runs into blackpool from the entrace to the park so could just leave the car and get the bus so no parking to worry about, we were in Blackpool in July last year and found that everything piers, pleasure beach, etc all closed early at about 6.30 so we were left with nothing to do in the evening (we stayed at Travelodge) at least if you were here there would still be entertainment, things to do at night.
    Hope this helps

Meant to add, Travelodge have an easter sale on just now, so worth having a look at them again, rooms from £19, maybe be cheaper than when you looked before.
  • You already have some great replies. However, as a person with a few young kids who used to visit and stay in Blackpool. We now take a self catering cottage in the near by Lake District and make day trips to Blackpool. This way we get the best of all worlds... great cottage in magnificent countryside... easy M6 access to Blackpool.. and all the funs for the four kids both playing in Blackpool and in the Lakes. Plus the cottage letting company we now always use, Lakelovers, offer free leisure club membership, so we can all go to a great pool to relax in after the day out.

Suggest IF you can manage the drive, you take a look at www.lakelovers.co.uk who offer all tourisit board graded properties for under £7 pppn.

Good Luck and enjoy your stay.

Thanks for all replies so far. We have now booked a place on the prom between rigby road and Princess Street. I've been trying to figure out the best car parks but I'm not really sure - can anybody give me some pointers on car parks nearby worth using thanks.
