I could have made a fortune off this, but a lot of my family have already ordered! Still, I think it is a good idea and will try...:beer:0

I got an email from them yesterday (one with pics of new lines etc) but nothing about money off. the last email I had from them with a discount code one of them didn't work.
Brufy: That not that much stuffShould have bought a box of each of them!
It is actually rather worrying. I want to buy more and more stuff from AF. But I don't need anything! As I said it's not like I eat sweets or chocolate, at least then I'd have an excuse.0 -
Just breezing through to ask if anybody had opinions on this lot:
Moss Farm Mixed Fruit Jam
The De-identified Jelly Babies
Remia Mayonnaise
and the Sosmix (sausage mix stuff)
Think that's it.
Just a note to PinkPinkFizz - As far as I am aware anything off a motorway is classed as Highlands and Islands by the courier companies. In fact I'm surprised living in Inverness that you haven't come across this before. Please don't blame AF, it's the courier companies that cherry pick the best areas and give the rest of us some stick price-wise. In fact I think Dan did a very good job negotiating the price he did as our minimum charge (even if you buy a dishcloth) is usually £12 via the couriers.
Let's hope Gordon Brown doesn't privatise part of RM like he is threatening because then folks in places like Norfolk and Cornwall will know just how we feel ...!0 -
I haven't tried the jam but did find out Moss farm is the value range from duer, usually sold in cash and carries. At what price I don't know.0

I wondered if anyone else received the email offering a 10% discount to customers who had a "bad customer service" experience when the company was "struggling to cope".
I genuinely thought what a kind offer, but I was very satisfied with every asspect of my order so didn't bother with the discount, the email did however remind me to take a look at what was new on the site.
I filled a basket of goodies and the kids all had a look and added what they would like, then we went to check out and noticed that the postage rates seem to have changed. I live in Inverness (Capital of the Highlands) and postage is now charged at £10.50 not the national rate of £5.25. This didn't seem right as when I placed my 1st order the postage was £5.25.
I emailed AP and their response was most disappointing. Apparently there is no change in the pricing and its down to the carrier DHL. It was an oversight on their part the first time, that allowed my order to be processed.
This makes me SO angry  I live in mainland scotland not out on an island or at the end of a dust track road. DHL have a depot in Inverness!!
I simply won't be placing an order at that delivery charge rate.
Could it be your second order was heavier than the first? When I add things to my basket, the postage suddenly leaps when I reach a certain weight. I paid a tenner odd last time but I had loads of drinks etc which came up heavier.0 -

I think if he did a code now after it's become so big it'd cost a bloody fortune! Could work as a competition though.
The delivery cost is great value for money. I guess the one thing that would be nice would be to see the actual weight in the basket. It's obviously there as that is how the delivery is worked out but if I knew I could get x of product y extra squeezed into the lower cost that would be useful.0
