I ordered one of those 'sacks' of jelly babies, my husband looked at me like I was insane when I told him, but I know he loves jelly babies! Unfortunately he may be eating them for quite some time...:D
One of those big bags of pretzels does 3 of us for almost a week, really nice dipped into soft cheese spread too!
My 14 year old loves the little jelly pots, but he didn't like the lime jelly that comes in a big pack, I have suggested maybe he tries it with ice-cream or maybe we could make a trifle...we will also be eating this for some time lol it makes a huge amount! :rotfl:0 -

I'm getting tempted to order from AF again. I had an awful time with my last order and decided to not use AF again. Reading this thread recently it looks like they have got themselves sorted and on top of it all. I do so hope so.

Hi,
I wondered if anyone else received the email offering a 10% discount to customers who had a "bad customer service" experience when the company was "struggling to cope".
I genuinely thought what a kind offer, but I was very satisfied with every asspect of my order so didn't bother with the discount, the email did however remind me to take a look at what was new on the site.
I filled a basket of goodies and the kids all had a look and added what they would like, then we went to check out and noticed that the postage rates seem to have changed. I live in Inverness (Capital of the Highlands) and postage is now charged at £10.50 not the national rate of £5.25. This didn't seem right as when I placed my 1st order the postage was £5.25.
I emailed AP and their response was most disappointing. Apparently there is no change in the pricing and its down to the carrier DHL. It was an oversight on their part the first time, that allowed my order to be processed.
This makes me SO angry  I live in mainland scotland not out on an island or at the end of a dust track road. DHL have a depot in Inverness!!
I simply won't be placing an order at that delivery charge rate.pinkpinkfizz

We used to live at Forres which is quite near Inverness, we often had this problem getting items, especially heavy ones, delivered up there. AF are not the only company to be charging extra to deliver to the North of Scotland unfortunately.
We will probably be moving back there towards the end of the year so I guess after that we won't be ordering any more as that's quite a hike in delivery charge. I guess I better stock up before we move!
edit: Does the alternative carrier not deliver to Inverness for £7.50 for up to 56kg?0 -
