shove what - LHA?0

Are you actually saying that if someone moved out of a local authority property and went to the private sector they would have their LHA reduced - when its fixed for everyone?
Do you even know the meaning of troll?0 -
I heard of a tenant that was told if she gave up her tenancy in her Local Authority property and moved to the private sector, the LHA would be reduced, unless there were exceptional circumstances for the move.0

Secondhand info like the rest of your post.0 -
Look! there are some little tin gods out there, some will spout a lot of S*** to claimants! that is a fact- if you can show me that this tenant was lied to, stick it up.0

If you move from one London borough to another (which can mean just crossing a road) the LHA will depend on the LHA in the new borough, which could be higher or lower than the previous borough.
Maybe that was the info that eco-friendly heard. It would make no sense for a local authority to discourage people from giving up council property.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
