What do you buy?
I don't shop there often so I don't know what they have

I don't do my food shopping at asda often, but I do find their nonfood smartprice items good value

I used to love their smartprice meatballs but they seem to have stopped doing them
The chunky chicken is white sauce is lovely and I keep a few cans in for when I'm having a manic day, shove it in a saucepan with some frozen peas and sweetcorn and serve with rice.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I like to visit asda on a sunday just before they close and lots of meat reduced. Worth remembering.0

I will pretty much buy anything smartprice, barring the corned beef, because occasionally there are bones in, but asdas own is fine, everything else is lovely and not much difference to the normal asda product.
As glad said the towels and things are also good, I bought a load of towels for hospital when I had my baby so as not to ruin our own and once they were washed they were lovely and fluffyWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
I always buy smartprice everything if I can, except toilet roll (I buy Asdas own but the largest pack I can which can last us 3 about 2 months if not longer!). If you want to know exactly what they sell near you, try looking at their website and searching for "Smartprice" and "Smart Price". I would search for both terms as different items come up with each option! :rolleyes:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Buy: 'pot noodles', butter, flour, fry chips, orange juice, raisins/sultanas, any SP fruit (usually odd sizes but taste fine), basmati rice, ice cream, tinned tomatoes, tinned kidney beans, apple and blackcurrant squash and lemonade.
don't buy: Tinned spaghetti (too salty and watery), ketchup (too watery), eggs (battery farmed), ready meals (too salty).2009 wins: Signed Saxon CD, Solar Torch, Drumsticks, Priest Feast Tix, Watch, Hammerfest tix :beer:0 -
I don't get to Asda very often but love there smartprice Bran Flakes and only 71p per packet for 750g. Almost double the price in the Tescos.

I buy their washing up liquid (not concentrated but use double and still works out cheaper than any others), washing powder, cordial (orange, lemon and blackcurrant), pure orange and apple juice (I find both quite strong so water them down a bit), fruit, eggs, butter, cheese, margarine (less fat etc than own brand), beans, beans and sausage, spaghetti hoops, flour, baby shampoo and bubble bath (turns water blue, DS loves it "and boo bubbles peas mummie", I add some lavender essence to it and a drop of water as it's quite thick and gloops out of the bottle otherwise).
Edit: And........Furniture polish and clingfilm, (don't rate their tin foil, just doesn't seem to do the job)."And crawling on the planet's face,

And meaning"0
