Hello
Just looking for a little advice, I will try to keep it short.
Last year (June08) I entered into a 18month contract with BT, have been with them a few years, I agreed to 18mths @ 22.99 with six months free to show up as a credit on next bill, at the time of call - I informed them I'd be moving, this was not a problem.
So we moved transferred everything over to new house, received bill no credit - called BT (very long conversations and not very helpful) they told me the credit would show up on the November bill, this came no credit rang again (many times) got a credit for 39.12 issued (they say this is for 2mths - have no idea where they went to school as 22.99x2 is 45.98) in one of my many conversations they told me that the next bill (Febs) would have the remaining four months, I received it today and no credit.
So I've rung again and after a long conversation with a person who could barely speak English - he told me that the credit is showing an issue date of May 09, I explained that it wasn't acceptable as this is nearly a year after the contract was renew, explained that every bill have been told it will be on the next. I told the guy that they are in breach of contract, and asked to speak to someone with more authority, or Gilllian ( the person who originally signed the conformation letter dated June 27 08) he said he would and transferred me to the main switch board.
I'm going to put together a formal letter but any advice would be appreciated

i got exactly the same deal as you, except they told me nearly the opposite, they said i would recieve my 1 free month every quarter, so over the 18 months i would get 6 free months in total, i was happy with this arrangemaent, i was even happier when i recieved m first quarter bill, to find 3 monhs credits, so my last bill had it showing they owed me £87:beer:, DaveTake every day as it comes!!0
