I also have £3500 in the Nationwide Balance Unit Trust and £1500 in the Nationwide High Income Fund from previous tax years.
They need reviewing. You could perhaps transfer them once are in a position to decide which funds you want.Next tax year I am unsure whether to stick to the mini isa or do a maxi?
If you are going to exceed 4k in equities, then you go MAXI. If not, you go MINI.
As for funds, you select a portfolio of funds across the sectors which average out to match your risk rating. I believe the HL platform only allows £1000 per fund so your selection will be a limited but if you look at your exisiting holdings, you could get a decent portfolio spread.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). ok, thanks for the advice. I think I'll stick to a mini cash isa, and put the rest into a couple of managed funds and a tracker. I know you can't make any recommendations but what is your opinion of the tracker vs managed fund?0
