beware orange mobile contracts

i have just checked my experian report and found that it shows 2 late payments to orange communications. on checking my statement it says bills paid ok nothing mentioning overdue etc.contacted orange they say credit department say it was over 14 days late of statement date.however on checking there terms it clearly says payment due is when you recieve invoice which is normally after statement date by 3 or 4 days.
so beware if you think payment was on time it may well be a bad credit rating and you wont know.
i have complained to cisas about it as im not happy.

If you haven't already, then it will be worthwhile registering to manage your account online so you can check what date the bill is due by to avoid any more markers on your file. Although, that's the same for everything too.

just cheked online account no due date on that either thats not point anyway.point is if you payed by cheque and they recieve it late through no fault of yourself or theres they do not inform you and im sure like me youd assume when next invoice comes and says thank you for payment all is ok.
not for them to secretly say it was late. in fact when i spoke to orange customer services first they said id never made late payment in all my time under contract.only after delving deeper found accounts office says i was late. thats my point thanks.
