Thanks loulou41 and Milarky. Feels reassured now and have been looking through other threads on here for another ISA to transfer to. There is Natwest e-ISA which pays 3.51 variable, and accepts transfers. is this good? Anyone has any experience transferring into this ISA?

As I have already subscribed to the 2008/9 tax year, it it OK for me to open an e-ISA now for the purpose of transferring in MemberISA bond?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, I did that I just took the NW Isa Bond this morning and filled a transfer form to Yorkshire Building Society E-Isa. The rate is 3.25% for 20k. I have moved all the family isa to YBS for a better rate. You have to apply online. The reason I did not go with Nat West is I do not want to open yet another saving account!!
