can you get out of contract

i hvae an 18 month contract with orange which is my broad band and telephone but have seen so many better deals but orange refuse to give me my map code unless i pay 200 which is more than my remaining payments :mad: but no code no switch is this right,:confused: many thanks amber1234

    Hi Amber,

    If you leave your contract part way through the term there will be early termination fees as set out in your terms and conditions.

    If you want to move to another IP stream provider a MAC will be needed to migrate the service. If you want to go to an LLU provider then no MAC will be needed to transfer the service. You will still be charged by Orange once the service is terminated thoug as you are in a contract period.

  • As Emma has said, Orange are well within their right to charge you an early termination fee, as, I'm sure, is laid out in their t+cs. They can not, however, refuse to issue a MAC, though, obviously, using it may be very expensive
