Credit card charges are not subject to court stays since the OFT test case only relates to personal bank a/c charges
  • This means credit card charges are all reclaimable whatever your personal circumstances. Even if they were "only" £12.

I would expect so, i have not looked at the reclaiming letters on here but I am lead to believe that there is a standard letter you can send for every situation I would probably look up the letters on here.
  • hi please could some one help me i sent off to the halifax to get my bank charges back as a hardship case i did not send a statment of our finances to them at that time our bank charges were around £1000 but they only offered us around £150. At the moment i am going through payplan as my husband is selfemployed and has no work and we cannot pay our bills with my earnings i have sent off to all our ceditors including Halifax a statment of our finances. What do i do now to reclaim our bank charges back from Halifax. thanks Diane
