sky hd deal?

hello, i have been with virgin for about 8 years, i have v+ and a phone line and 10mb broadband. We dont have a bt line. Spoken to sky and they said they will fit sky+ hd for 49 pounds. Then for the same payment each month as virgin, 46 pounds we will get 16 meg broadband, hd tv, and line renntal. Sky have said they will pay the 126 pound conection charge to bt too. Is it worth the switch and is this a good deal? How is skys broadband? Im only 300 meters from the exchange so i should get nesr 16mb will i? Thanks for any advice.
