Good points elan, for me the crux of the non-responsibility, common sense out of the window generation that we seem to be breeding boils down to what we teach kids now, we teach them to question everything rather than accept most things as 'such is life'

A different example for example is when a new school is erected the surrounding area for about a mile is traffic calmed so the kids are 'safer'; which isnt a bad thing. But for me it sends out the wrong signal, rather than teach the kids that the road IS a dangerous place and you can get killed, make the drivers take responsibility.

We had a lovely time. Only made an appointment for a cut n blow, but had it coloured on the spur of the moment - it's redder than a red thing !!!!!

A little voice inside of me says I don't really care about Jade cause she's not a proper celebrity. Of course it is tragic but there are thousands of people out there dieing of it too. 'Proper' celebs like Sean Connery and others who have it then fair enough, I switch off when she comes on. Its like the parents of Madeline McCann, WHY did they get all the publicity when no one else has? They left their kids alone yet they were headline news, meeting the pope and trying to head-up European Road sign child abdcuting warning systems; how bothered were they about it before Maddy was kidnapped. Very very sad though, but we seem to have lost sight that they had left their under 16 year old children unsupervised, surely they should be locked up???

with regards to Jade, I think what is happening is tragic, at such a young age. I've been following the story, quietly from the sidelines over on Digital Spy and you would not believe the venom, hate and anger there is for 1 individual human being on that site.

My OH is one of the people who actually spits out venom when talking about Jade....he says she is everything he detests about society today...when actually she is a victim of our society today..IMHO!

Like I say to him, if someone offered you a million pounds to do a photoshoot and you were dying of cancer would you turn it down.....its like Jordan...she gets offered loads of money to do what she does....should she turn it down...maybe get a job at Tesco? on £5 an hour.....(debate on how much Tesco pays per hour can be found on another thread.....):rotfl:
