Blonde Question Please Help
I have a Vodafone contract phone but can't access the internet on it?
I don't think it's the phone as it worked fine when I was with O2.
Is this something I should be able to do for myself or will I have to contact Vodaphone to 'tweak' something?
Will I have to subscribe or can it be done on a pay per connection basis? (it was with O2)
I only need the facility about 10/12 times a year?
Please help it's driving me mad............

Failing that, (I've never had Vodaphone), but I used to have an 02 phone and they sent me the settings by text message. I then opened up the txt message and the settings were saved to my phone. Worth phoning them if these don't work.0 -

You need the phone settings which you can download direct from motorola's website but make sure that GPRS has been set up by Vf on your account(you'll have to ring to find out)Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0

you can get settings sent from either network or phone manufacturer's websites ...
or call customer services and get them to send the settings to you; they may give you a password number to be entered when saving them0 -
Thank You everyone for your help.
I've asked for the settings and I have received a text & a browser message (telling me update is required) I pressed install but so far nothing has happened!!!! I've turned phone off & on a few times to see if that's what was needed .....still nothing:mad: .
Now off to ring the guys who sold me the package.........0 -
hi Marg,
you shouldn't need to turn the phone on and off. if it's not taking the Over the Air download, then it might be that you haven't got GPRS on your phone account. that'll be your next point of call i think.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0
