  • Shelvis - drink lots of fluids hun and keep eating non-icky things (toast is good) you may be able to avoid it.

Not sure 16+3 counts as early pregnancy though - pre-12 weeks would be more of a worry. Try not to stress.

The next person to text me with a 'thinking of you' or funny comment or some other such b0ll0x will receive an eff off and leave me alone text in return I swear

Am I really ungrateful and mean??

Shelvis - don't worry the problem with getting V&D in pregnancy is more linked to either/or what caused it or that you will get too dehydrated from it, if you do catch it make sure you drink plenty and if you can stomach them have dioralyte sachets and if you seem very dehydrated call the doctor/NHS Direct.
You would more than likely be totally fine :D x

AM - I got a nice plain black trolley case "hand luggage size" for £10 from Tesco which seems pretty cheap from what others have found  I think its this one http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-7090.aspx
or if you prefer a holdall then they have one with wheels http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-2062.aspx both were £10 in store and next to each other on the self of the one I went to

I seriously think you should send a blanket txt to all these "well wishers" saying Thanks for your concern but I am fine, baby is still in there and fine, Please leave me alone now. You will be told once he has arrived unless you pester me again, in which case I shall delete ur number and never speak to you again - even if you are my mother!!

If they don't listen to that then, did I ever tell you my dad owns a shotgun;):p

Shelvis, when someone in our house has a bug (there's alot of us) we put them in one room and all but one parent (if it a child) stays. All the other kids have to stay away. We even use different bathrooms. I go around the house and wash all door handles etc. You would only pick it up if you touch something with the bug on it. Get an antibacterial spray, spray everything.

Sorry, I have a phobia about being sick, but touch wood bugs never go further than one person here. X

    Off to work, bye. X
Too many children, too little time!!!

    i need some help! (again!)
within the last couple weeks, while at work on a quick break,i seen a window adverisement on a shop that showed a regular pram only with what looked like a carseat attached to the side. now, this would be very practical for me, as i am 20 weeks pregnant with a 16 month old DD. My problem is, I have been to all the shops in which i thought i seen the advetisement for them to tell me they dont have a clue what im talking aout! Sooo frustrating. I know i didnt dream it, as my mums boss also mentioned it to her - before she left on maternity leave, so i cant find out where she seen it!! I have googled it, but to no avail.
    Can anyone please help???

Was this it? (You'll need to look at different views to see the mode which has pushchair and car seat together)

Do I get a prize if I'm right??
I think ur thinking of the "Buggy pod" LINK
Its a bit pricey and I've seen a few bad reviews of it so do some research before you buy ;)
    or a buggy board/seat LINK

There is also a sort of unicycle that you can attach to a pram/buggy but I think its more for oldr kids http://www.amazon.co.uk/Swiss-Strolli-Rider-Buggy-Board/dp/B000H3PT9C

  • Sami - LOL - thing is I have told all my closest friends and family (the ones that I wouldn't actually mind texting me!!) and it is only the ones that I 'daren't' say anything to that are left :o

It is seriously bad though - texts at 10.30pm at night would p1ss me off at the best of times (I was brought up to respect peoples privacy after 9.30pm) but now hubby is starting to get wound up by them too. I need to start being blunt I think...or refer them on to you!!

Was going to offer some lame nonsense about the pram and car seat but see that you and Nicki actually know something!!

  • MFD I would be going mental if I were you! In fact I would say I would turn my phone off but then people just ring the landline to irritate me. Save a text in your phone to keep sending saying 'Thanks for the concern but you are the 10 millionth person to text me and I can't afford to keep replying to you all!! Rest assured I will let you know as soon as the baby comes but in the meantime am saving my credit so wont keep replying' - its telling them to get bent without being mean! Even though you prob should be mean to half of them. Would drive me mental.

Thanks everyone for your advice RE OH. I have just been in and cleaned the toilet with antibac and bleach - plus have done down the sinks with antibac too. I have put a handgel in there for use so hopefuly me and DS will avoid it. He has gone to get back in bed now so I think I will leave him there any maybe I will sleep in the spare room tonight so he can sweat it all out without me feeling gross.

Yeah got blunt MFD! I'm blunt with most people anyway :o
I know what u mean about "late" night txts my OH looks at me weird when I write a txt at night but save it and set a reminder to send it in the morning - I hate having to disturb people past 9pm I think its rude!
