    I'm back.. briefly :)

Have only just remembered again I'm not at work in the morning - hurrah, means I can think about what to wear in the morning instead of the usual Sunday night panic / "weekend is over" feeling coming on too soon! :)

My bump has gone a funny shape, got dimples in it all over! Would really love to see in there right now to see how on earth baby is lying! :D

Tara, hope your chat with school and then your DS goes well tomorrow. How has he been today? Make sure he knows cake makes mum happy! ;)

Labour vibes to all who neeeeeeeed / want them :)

I'm off to make OH a cuppa.. he's had *ahem* several beers tonight and has now stopped playing his online game cos he was letting his team down and in danger of dying - oh deary me!

    Night night all xx

this school wasnt my first choice but i liked zoes teacher and she settled so quickly ... the kids are lovely (well most :D) its just there parents ... they do my head in i always thought i was common .. but blooming hell :rotfl: x
Thats what it's like round here, proper jeremy kyle type people!
I am by no means posh or anything like that but I do have a bit of pride!
The worst thinhg is when they are all outside the school gate puffing on fags, swearing and just being scummy.
I do swear but not at the school, it is my choice if I swear in front of my kids or not, but I'm not going to do it infront of others kids, thats just not on.

The only reason that I don't want to be induced is because it means I can't try for a water birth. If I could I would get induced tomorrow!!

Keep meaning to ask you - the Conrad you knew at school, does his surname begin with an A? I only know one and he would be about your age (or a little older) and is from Liverpool...

We still haven't decided on a name LOL!

Have you been told you wouldnt be able to have a water birth becuase of induction?
I was induced and was in the pool hoping to deliverhere but turns out i didnt feel safe in the water! But no one ever said it wasnt an option. At the beginning of the induction i was on a monitor for half an hour then again once contractions started for 30 mins... but then i was free from monitoring until delivery, which happened to be 2 hrs after contractions kicked in.
  • Hello!

I haven't caught up with everyone yet - not been online all week and its a mammouth task!

Just a couple of thinks on pram/car seats. I have a ford fiesta and my SC venturer fits in fine. The seatbelt is tight (which is good!) but it will go in. If you find it difficult the trick is to wrap it round before you clip in not after like the instructions say. Also fits in hubbys mondeo fine. Used it for 9 months with no problems at all. And I LOVE my silver cross 3D the pram is lovely. I am gutted I can't use it with this pregnacy but i needed a double buggy.

My OH has really bad sickness and diarrhoea and am panickying that I will get it as I have heard it is dangerous in early pregnancy. I am 16+4 today so scared stiff!

I am pretty sure that one of the things we were told at our Waterbirth class was that you couldn't go in if you were induced because of the need to monitor the baby all the time. It could well be that if the need to monitor reduces then you can go in the pool. Will ask the MW this morning.

    THANK YOU

What a lovely short labour for you!!
