in Water bills
Hi all,
Now I m totally open to your opinions here as I dont know if this is to much, about right, or too little, but I guess the mere fact Im here asking you, would tend to suggest Im concerned about it sounding a little expensive.
Ive just got my water bill through, (Hopefully the picture will have worked below) and I was just wondering what everyone though. My last bill was only £73.25 as you may be able to see, but this one is £120. The billing period is from 31/07/08 - 06/02/09.
Please tell me if im talking rubbish and this is normal, as I will gladly accept, just seems a little high compared to last one.

Sorry, should mention that I live alone in a three bedroom house. I have 1 bath a day (Somtimes two if im feeling really grubby....lol), and only do a load of washing maybe once or twice a week.
Cheers.

This is just for sewerage.
You have used 70 cubic metres of water in just over 6 months, which is about double the average for a single person. The average is approx 60 cubic metres per year.
You are also paying for surface water drainage - do you have a soakaway?
Where is your bill for water? you will have a further bill for 70 x £1.20.83 = £84.51 + approx £13 standing charge. see
