i feel like crying!!!!

i cant believe that 16 weeks on since my husband just walked out and left me in this awful mess i am no further along with it all than i was then!!! i have just received figures from the national debtline who recommend an IVA. so now that brings the total to 4 agencies contacted who all allow different i & e and all recommend a different solution. i know having 4 peoples advice is only clouding an already cloudy issue but each time i get a suggestion whether it be bankruptcy or iva someone else says try this one. everyone on here has been great and although none of you can give me the answers i need you all have been very supportive. i am now receiving texts from lloyds and although i have been told to not speak to any of them and just say please dont call here anymore this is all being dealt with by post. BUT i have not got anything to put in post as i still dont know what to do!! i just want to cry but am scared if i start i may never stop, i have another evening in front of me with a blinding headache and laying on a bed full of budget plans and stroppy letters. i am getting nowhere fast, in fact i am getting nowhere. its my birthday tomorrow and i have never felt less like celebrating. my illness was already at a stage when i was a virtual recluse and although i did force myself out in those first few days that he left i am now back to not leaving the house, well in fact not leaving my bedroom unless its to go hospital, docctors or dentist!! how long can i in theory keep giving them good will gesture £10 notes until they come after me big style when they realise nothing is ever coming in the post. with so many options and them all being suggested at some point how the hell do i work out what to do next? depending on what agency figures you look at i have a disposable income of between £300 and £400 and assets of £7000 would it just be simpler to use the more beneficial budget sheet and just offer them whatever the pro rata figure it works out to be obviously sending them a begging letter to accompany it asking for all charges and interest to be frozen, removed, whatever it is and just get on with it?????

Sweetheart, have a cry, let it out, it seems that you have pressure building that needs an outlet. If it means you spend the evening crying, so be it, just let go for a bit.

Now tomorrow will be another day where collectively we can support you and try to work out the next move.

BTW Happy Birthday for tomorrow, :bdaycake:xx.

Please don't sink into despair, there's always a solution. It does sound to me that you neeed some external support in order to make some sense of where you are at financially at the mo. I apologise I'm not aware of your circumstances other than your posts above, have you anyone who can help you like citizens advice?

Practical solutions forr the time being. Change your number e.g. take out the sim card from your phone, tra lahhhhh, that stops the texts straight away.;)

Take all the letters, etc and place them in a box out of sight of now and off your bed where you need to rest and sleep. They can be dealt with tomorrow or thursday.

Post your questions on the bankruptcy board and see what suggestions are offered there. Many people have a great deal of knowledge of similar situations and will be able to advise.

    Hiya
Just wanted to say hello to you too and wish you a happy birthday for tomorrow.

Here's the link for your SOA

    Take care hun xx
  • Hi hun

I just posted on your other thread and then say this one.

I am sorry you are feeling so rubbish, please trust me when I say all this debt stuff will get better. Do you think you would be better dealing with someone face to face rather than using the agencies that are online and over the phone?? If so then CAB are your people. I don't want to sound like I am palming you off on another org but I sort of feel like you could do with some real life, in the flesh sympathetic debt advice to get you started off.

I hope that you feel better soon and I wanted to wish you a happy birthday too

    Take care hun

Money aside, you sound depressed - try and go to your doctor and tell him/her; there are lots of things that could help you, and if you feel better in yourself, then you'll find everything else easier to cope with.
From experience, it will get better; but sometimes you need help. Don't be afraid to ask.
    Take care.
  • Couldn't agree more with Mozette - I was just thinking about posting something similar but however I wrote it I sounded ham fisted so ditto what she said ^^^^^
