Thriftyminx, I was talking to an ex-colleague last week and he'd been assessing at one of the Assessment centres the precious week so it sounds like you were one of the very early ones. As weeclick says I think there is a lot of time needed to mark everyone, draw up a merit list and do all the necessary governance. No news is good news at this stage.

Yeah thats probably true. on the day they told us mid-May, so everytime there is any form of post I keep looking. There were 96 people that went through to the assessment centre and only 16 in our group for one day. So as you say it was probably spread over 2-3 weeks. Although given that I made a !!!!-up of the written exercise I think I'm setting myself for a fall!

Oops really odd had post on my desk and didn't check it till an hour ago. It was from HR connect. I was one of the 32 successful candidates.

Staff Officer equivalent to an EOII. It's the grade above my current grade as I'm already a civil servant. It's a bit daft since I've been at the grade below for near 5 years and had to have an external board to get the promotion cause I'm rubbish at criteria based interviews. Maybe I could ask for money based on experience compared to newbies!!!:rotfl::rotfl: Yeah right.

no idea what department or when i;ll be told. it took this long to find out i'd been excepted!
