DFS has just called me realy arsey is the only word i can use saying that the letter i had sent was standard and contradicting because i said the salesperson was pushy and that i didn't know i had it, I corrected him and said the sales person was pushy and that i wasn't aware the ppi was optional because he included it as part and parcel of the deal, the conversation went a bit u said i said....... I advised him that i wasn't going to have a heated debate on the phone if he couldn't deal with my complaint i would take it to the FOS, to which he replied that DFS would defend themselves. (i panicked a bit obviously) but then he said as a gesture of good will and NOT because they had to he would pay me back what i had payed in insurance to date but not the intrest. I obviously excepted and thanked him for his time.
