Expensive mistake for HSBC if your mum is successful.
They have made bigger mistakes - certainly wouldn't get my sympathy vote. :huh:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

A little pixie came to my door and give me a million pound ! I don,t think so !
I think you will find they can withdraw any offer at any time . They will have her letter offering the higher amount as proof . Anyone can see the error . If you were a Judge would you allow it ? Bet you will find they cash the cheque then chase her for the full amount out standing .0 -
