  • Well, I'm surprised at you PN. What has Phil ever done to you personally for you to vent such ire? I'm sure there are plenty of other people we could vilify before we reached Phil. I'll start the ball rolling...

    1. Adolph Hitler.
    2. Joseph Stalin.
    3. !!!!!!?
    4. Sadaam Hussain.

    5. Gordon Brown.

Not playing. Starting a new list.

    1) Phil.
    2) Krusty.

Hmm. Phil. Advising young couples to buy into an over inflated housing market while at the same time making profits out of people buying into over inflated property market. Did gullible people see the property 'guru' and realise he was just pumping it up along with his STABLE mate Krusty.

I do of course accept that Adolf Hitler is worse. But this is a property, not a mass murderer forum.

I'd say that the term means: unable to choose your own hours and what you do, when you do it, but having your daily/weekly schedule dictated to you by a boss, with conflicting deadlines and priorities - and more and more work piled on daily whether it's in your skillset or not. Watching the clock hit 5.30 and either having to fight your way through rush hour traffic, or wishing you could because you still have a shedload of work to do so will have to stay as late as necessary to get it completed.... only to find tomorrow it wasn't needed or the boss actually wanted something different (that he never asked for). To have to try to catch your boss and tentatively request one of your precious days off for something important, hoping the request won't be rejected. Desperately becoming anxious on your drive into work in case you are 2 minutes late (unforeseen circumstances) and you're threatened with the sack if you don't pull your socks up, even though you were there for free until midnight last night.

    All for £16k/year.

    You know, proper job.

    You missed out:

    Licked road for breakfast.
    Worked 72 hour shift

    and of course....

    We were lucky!!;)
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Spot on mewbie. Krusty Allcrap said and I quote:

"House prices only ever go UP, UP, UP. Buy now before someone else gets it. "

What a shameful pair of shysters, chancers and frauds.
