Is it me, or do others notice the tendancy of robotised Scots to be oh so positive in general. I listen to Radio 4 every day and am getting a bit fed up with every other announcer / weather person / journo being a Scot. It's as if someone at the Beeb has taken that research we trust Scots accents the most, to heart.

People who work in call centres usually tone their accents down - they change to 'proper' Scottish accent when they realise I'm Scottish too.

One accent I can't understand is a broad Aberdonian accent 'fit like'
