Have o2 PAYG free texts increased to 500 a month?
I've just called o2 top up to find out my free text balance (4444, then option 2)
I noticed that it says I currently have 500 free texts to use this month as opposed to the normal 300. Does everybody already know about this or is it something new. Not received any notification from o2, but if this is here to stay then I shall be very happy!

Cancel that. Must've been a mistake on their balance line as its now been reduced back to normal. Oh well, could've been good0

Is the 4444 number free on O2? my son was wondering how to check his used texts...0

Mine says I have 164 texts left and 300 minutes. What on earth are the 300 minutes?
Edit: I wonder is it the WAP allowance? I'm on the older O2 tariff. Must see about setting the phone up to use it.0 -
Your probably on online talkalotmore tariff. Which means you get free minutes to use every evening and all weekend to use to any landline or mobile network.
Top up between £15-£29 per month and receive 150 minutes
Top up £30 or more and receive 300 minutes. Hope this helps0 -
I can't remember the last time I topped up with more than £10 so it's not that. It's not worth it to me. I've got £49 credit on the phone from the last 5 month's topups!
I think it must be 300 WAP minutes which the old tariff offered instead of 1MB.0
