  • Hi Lou - I am suffering from a lack of internet at home (even my fancy internet phone has died, stupid touch screens ).. and work keeps interfering with my daytime forum time, so unfair :rotfl:

  • I think that hug icon is incredibly dodgy, lol,

Have a nice rest, Luc, I hope you have sweet and no insane mad dreams.

I am feeling better, chatting away to my older sister online, pointing her in the right direction of some decent free anti virus software.

Maybe the docs can take a good bit from each of us and make 1 good body.

  • i have nothing much to contribute today.... i took a days holiday yesterday and was quite domesticated.... i found a recipe book which has Forfar Bridies in it (think cornish pasties-ish) and i made Big G some bridies from scratch. pastry and everything!!! he was well impressed as was i!

I was at runclub and found the running good, obviously dropping a stone so far has positively affected my running, and i began my 10k training plan last night officially!! whoo hoo! i have been stuck at 3 miles for ages now, but last night i really felt like i could have kept going (on the flat at least!) for another mile or so... I have done 4 miles maybe once or twice in the last few months but it's not the norm anyway....

anyway, enough inane ramblings from me, just shoving in time til someone else comes along... Squizz/snags/bun - how are your runnings going???

Sally, are you up to 20 miles yet???
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Thanks for the heads up Lou, we'll lop off a limb and leave the brain then.

They're not - still not quite shifted the cough that I've had since before Christmas - second lot of antibiotics haven't quite seen it off. Am out of breath walking uphill never mind running anywhere... marathon isn't looking too likely at the moment :(

    Morning everyone

Didn't get the t'interweb fixed at home last night so couldn't join in when I got home. Determined to fix it tonight though.

Had a midwife appointment this morning and everything's fine. Evie's now lying across my tummy but I'm still amazed everytime I hear her heart beating on the sonicaid. Going back in three weeks to see midwife, but back on Thursday to diabetic clinic. I'm feeling like I'm never in work at the moment and when I am I really can't be faffed.

Luc - good luck for Friday. Hopefully bean will decide that s/he'd like to arrive anytime soon.
