I was wondering if I do actually have a say in it or not. I have an iphone, it still has the 1year warranty and has a technical fault, this is not the first time it has happened either. Basically it stays on the start up screen and will not move, it is with o2, they are so un helpful and really couldnt care as long as they get the money for a phone that I cant even use.
Just had enough of them now and want to cancel..... any help?

do you have an apple shop nearby? YOu can take it in there and they will either fix it or give you a replacement as far as I know0

Apple are really good. Go to your nearest shop and they'll not let you leave until they've fixed it or given you a new one!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

You entitled to a phone that works. This can be either a repair or a replacement, unfortunately the choice of which is down to O2 and not down to you. If they can't repair it then they are required to replace it though. Take it to your local O2 shop or ring them and they'll arrange a repair for you. You are not entitled to a loan phone or any money back on line rental, although it can't hurt to ask!!
You don't have any right to cancel the contract as the SIM card related to the service is working OK (I guess?).Any opinions are my own and are offered as advice only and not fact.0 -
Bear in mind a 'replace' can be a reconditioned unit so it won't be 'new' per se.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
