Where? The first time buyer thing when we're not first time buyers?
Yes, it's like saying a TV is crap and then going out and buying a radio because I know it's great.

Also zoopla is a pile of !!!!!, by far the worst of the valuation sites.
I first went in with £145k which clearly was going to be rejected considering the flat underneath sold for £190k Feb 08, i then went to £150k and agent advised Vendor would only consider £160k, i gave them a last and final offer of £155k and it was accepted. I feel athough everones negative about buying now, at least i paid £35k less that the people down stairs paid last year.0 -
Savills say cut prices by 25%

i looked at a house in Oct/Nov and thought it was seriously overpriced, it was in a poor condition compared to other similar priced properties and smaller too so even without fallling prices i thought it was overpriced for what it was
got an email with new properties for sale yesterday and the same house was on there as a new listing - for £5k more than when we looked at it. . judging by the pictures no work has been done since i looked at it.
i'm intrigued as to why someone would put the price up when it wasnt selling at the lower?MFW 2015 so far..... £1808.70
2014 - £1451 2013 - £1600 2012 - £4145 2011 - £5715 2010 - £3258:)
Big new mortgage from 2017

If you've been lurking, you'll know that some people here have multiple usernames, and others have issues with the former. The rest of us have lives.i'm intrigued as to why someone would put the price up when it wasnt selling at the lower?
Because all houses have lost 20%+ of their value, except this one. Besides, it's easy to reduce an inflated price when a sensible offer is made; not that it will be, since a sensible offer is now probably 25% below the asking price.
It could also be because 'her indoors' wants a change of scenery, while 'he' has only just got his workshop the way he likes it.;)0
