Hot Chilli (adsl4less)

My Dad currently has adsl4less, run by Hot Chilli. Pretty good service, not listed on many forums, but they have been ok, apart from having to contact them by the web for support, or its the dreaded 0871 number oherwise.

He has been paying £140 a year for upto 8MB, but with 2GB cap.

They offered to come down to £119 a year, but still with 2GB cap. If he wants unlimited, its £14.99 per month.

He has been using a bit more than that limit per month and I was looking for a better deal and wondered who people would recommend?

  • but it does say that ADSL Max is available, how do I find a provider who does this, or does it have to be BT?
  • you're on adslmax (up to 8 mbs) already...
tbh, if you like the service, the prices quoted are pretty good. you wouldn't find it much, if at all, cheaper elsewhere, and the provision could be below the standard you're used to.
If they are not charging you for overuse, I'd be tempted to stick where you are.

  • thanks. they are charging for overuse, thats the problem, but he doesnt go over very often.
  • maybe have a look at plusnet?

  • i did, but it goes up to £11.99 a month, so I'll stick with £119 a year I think.
  • £119/year + overusage charges = ?
    ...but I agree, if you're happy..stay :)

  • actually I just worked it out and the £5.99 deal for 3 month and then £11.99 for 9, is better, as you get 10gb usage!
