could you not give her the receipt ? as it faulty under a year old ? contract trading standards for advice maybe....the truth is out there ... on these pages !!0

She can leave negative feedback but u have an opportunity to answer that. As has already been said, she can't ask for a refund as that can only done thru paypal.
As you point out, she had 1/2 an hour to inspect the item, u paid a lot more for it than she did and in this particular case she has no come back on you except the ability to leave negative feedback.
However, if you give her the receipt, if it is under the manufacturers guarantee time.., she can then get it repaired under warranty. Keep a copy of the receipt and warranty tho and send them recorded post.0 -
my dad found the reciept, so i've offered her that.

update ok, so i offer her the reciept, she refuses it and says she's going to leave me my first negative feedback in five years!!
she also says she is sending her son to my property to "speak to me!"
i called ebay who say they do not tolerate these threats, they want me to forward the email, they will remove any negative feedback that is left, she advised me to make the police aware of the buyers threat!
this experience has put me off selling anything again.0 -

What a nightmare! I'm not surprised you are put off selling, do not give in to her - she doesnt have a leg to stand on with ebay. You offered her the receipt and she refused, you have done more than enough for her. Another lovely buyer trying to use the threat of a neg to extort something from sellers, this is why i dont sell very often! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Sounds like a real pyscho ebayer. Probably a screw loose. Do not allow them to take advantage, any threatning behavior can be reported. Negative feedback counts for nothing if it's just a threat to get money back as well as the pram.0
