That explains alot, the reasons for the new stamps, old one being unfranked and the general poor service from the RM. All the posties are on smack!:rotfl:

Hate to break it to Louise, but 29 is considered positively ancient by real young people J

Anyway, keep up the banter people.

And it's about time the MSE Abuse team accepted that text speak is offensive to many (predominantly those with a modicum of education), and posts should "b" removed.

it would never have occured ot me but im sure many do
another 'trick' is using 1p abd 2p stamps as 1st/2nd class

That used to work, it doesn't now. The machines actually know how to read whether stamps are 1st or 2nd class now.

I've never steamed a stamp. In fact I thought it was one of those urban myths that you even can... If it doesn't peel off easily I just throw it away: life's too short to faff around any more than that.

I can picture the scene; envelope and a pair of tweezers on the table, hunched over, sweat droplets forming, heart in mouth, caaaarefully pull, pull..........oh b*gger it ripped!:o

Really worth committing an offence for, isn't it?
