Since you have to blend his food and store it, perhaps looking at efficient foor processor and/or smoothie maker (if you need them) would be an idea? Also, a good quality freezer food containers if you need them?

The only man who sticks closer to you in adversity than a friend is a creditor.

Just my suggestions
Very good suggestions which I probably wouldn't have thought of but luckily I have an excellent food processor. However, I will have to invest in plenty more containers for his food.
FF contacted us again to ask if we wanted anything else and in the end we opted for days out. The award came through a few weeks ago and we went to Bristol Zoo and still have a bit of money left over to go a children's petting farm that's not too far away from us.

<H1 class=pagetitle>Family Fund definition of severe disability
To meet the Family Fund definition of severe disability, children and young people must have additional complex needs, or have a serious or life threatening illness.
AND
There must be evidence that the child’s additional needs impact on family’s choices and their opportunity to enjoy ordinary life; and the degree of planning and support required to meet their needs is much greater than that usually required to meet the needs of children and young people.
AND
They must require a high level of support in three or more of the following areas:- The physical environment
- Education
- Communication
- Access to social activities
- Personal care, supervision and vigilance
- Specialist resources, including Information and Communications Technology, required
- Medical or therapeutic treatment and condition management
The child’s condition must be long term or life limiting. By long term we mean lasting or likely to last 12 months or more.

Glad you enjoyeed your day out, Cymrubaby. I didn't apply to the Family Fund last year as I was under a lot of stress due to a difficult divorce and it would have meant yet another form to fill in, but this year I applied online. We weren't as lucky as you, though. I requested three items (as advised on the online form) and received only the first item. Mind you, it was very quick - less than a week from filling in the form to receiving a decision!0

Saddened that someone took extra money just because they could and wasted it on days out. Now someone in need is going without, in the current climate every penny charities have is harder for them to get.Barclaycard 3800
Nothing to do but hibernate till spring
