An update on my previous thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1490383
regarding those strange Ebay pop-ups.
Tried to log in to Ebay today & couldn't, so went & checked my emails immediately.
Apparently a 3rd party had tried to hijack my account and luckily Ebay caught them in time (they obviously tried to list items from a dodgy IP address) so Ebay, rightly so - temporarily blocked my account.
I thought something was strange yesterday, as when listing a few things - Ebay was very very slow.
Anyway, I have to change my password etc & take a security tutorial and my account will be restored. But please be warned, if you have been getting these pop-unders, try to get rid of them asap. (I'm in the process of looking into that now).
N.B A few days ago, i browsed a couple of auctions in China but can't remember if i clicked on the photo's in the auction or not. So just thinking this "Spyware" could have came from those auctions.

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Ooh that's a bit scary, at least they didn't get very far with your account though.
Our popunders have now disappeared, thankfully.
Thanks for the PM to let me know
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.
