For the past few days i've been getting pop unders whenever i logged out of Ebay. See http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1490383
And the result of this is i almost had my Ebay account hijacked yesterday.
I know they can be blocked, but is there a way of getting rid of the pop unders altogether?
Or is just blocking them enough? (Didn't have pop-up blocker on yesterday BTW
).
Any advice will be appreciated.

Best scan your drive/s to check for malware etc
Download MALWAREBYTES (Click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-18510_4-10804572.html?cdlPid=10997763
UPDATE and FULL scan
Post the log here after its deleted everything
Download SUPERANTISPYWARE (Top right)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/
UPDATE and scan
Download HIJACK THIS (Top right)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
reboot
SCAN and post the log so we can see whats running
My best advice is use FIREFOX with the NOSCRIPT plugin in place of internet explorer:idea:0 -
Will this actually erradicate the pop-unders altogether?
Also, is it worth me running a Norton Antivirus scan?0 -

The top 2 scan the drives for popups aongst other things
Hijack will tell us if its still infected
Firefox with noscript will stop ALL scripts on EVERY website (Meaning they need unlocking, but it should stop problems like your having from happening again)
Certainly worth a norton scan yes:idea:0 -
Thanks for the advice & info.0

You might need to switch norton off whilst you run the other programs. It can sometimes conflict:idea:0
