  • Pudding is now covered in chocolate and setting in the fridge, assuming it doesn't all fall apart when I get it out the tin, I'm going to have to take a picture and show you guys. I picked a fairly simple dinner tonight, coz after making this most of the day, I am tired.
Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

  • Right, here goes again!

It's been a funny old day, it's the 11th anniversary of DS' open heart surgery which he had at 18 days old, and I always get a little emotional :o

First day of half term and all I've done is wii fit, guitar hero and facebook! :o Still, there's another 6 glorious days of no work so I'm sure I'll catch u with housework etc somewhere along the line!

    Anyway, today's list:

    - post here to keep me on track
    - free scratchcard - 10p
    - piggy click!! omg lol
    - phoned A&L as my payment was late last month and they'd removed my 0% deal - told a little white lie and said I'd been away so they've removed charges (almost £60!) and reinstated o% deal til July - phew!
    - phoned Lloyds to see if they'd refund o/d charges due to me goign over my o'd limit for one day. They refused so I've decided to reclaim bank charges from them - that'll teach em!
    - sort out sky/bt - not sure which one I'm using for calls or which is best deal
    - make DS eat the tea I made for him last night that he wouldn't eat, for tonight's tea
    - storecuboard brekkie and lunch
    - food shop in Asda as cheaply as poss
    - post Halifax cc agreement (openend for BT ad quidco cashback ;) )
    - drying washing on airer
    - update spending diary
    - surveys
    - enter at least 10 comps
    - check freebies board
    - bingoorting this eve

Think that's about it for today :D

Hi all, have had a lovely cheap day today. Tis half term and I'm on annual leave so I'm trying to be carefulo this week and not blow the budget.

    1) LSD - just milk and a paper.
    2) Lovely free day out. Went down to the river with friends and fed the ducks and got very muddy.Finished off with a trip to the park.
    3) Online scratch x 10p
    4) Received my Tesco CC vouchers so can get cracking with booking our summer holiday.

Off to concoct something for dinner now, have a good evening everyone.

    Today I have:
    • saved nearly £20 on the weekly shop :T used some money-off vouchers and made use of storecupboard stuff, plus hope to make lots of treats with DDs over half-term to save on buying biscuits and sweet 'treats'
    • put washing on airer to dry - we don't actually have a washing machine :D but I alwasy feel virtuous saving on the electricity of a washing machine, especially being as OH's mum offered to buy us one
    As well to do later:
    • check online banking for charges coming out
    • go through 'to do' file of bills and file anything that needs it, or make a note in diary of things that need dealing with
Not loads I know but getting into DFW'dom slowly and steadily and it all helps!
    Dealing with my debts!
