Luc, it's not going wrong hun. You're carrying a big lump of a bean round, your body is working hard to keep it warm etc. You're bound to feel a bit rough towards the end.
She's right you know, the very end stages of pregnancy are pretty grim - I think it's natures way of getting rid of your nerves about going into labour. You just get to a point where you think 'I don't care if it hurts, just get this damn baby out of me before I go insane'. It's normal to feel like that Luc hun, don't worry. :)

DS was long, and heavy, and the last few weeks were AWFUL. Feet in ribs, head bouncing on bladder, sciatica, heartburn.....the list was endless

  • I'm a volunteer. you'll go along to an interview. All you have to need is the willingness to learn and help others, and to be able to commit to min 6 hours a week and they ask that you're with them min 2 years once you're trained to recoup the cost of the certificate course you do while training as it's industry recognised and a lot of time and effort goes into it by yourselves and the bureau. :)

Thanks for your advice. I don't think the 6 hours or 2 years parts should be a problem. I'm just a little nervous about the interview itself, it just feels like there's a lot riding on it and I'm worried they'll think I'm not confident enough to advise other people. If they don't accept me, I've got to completely re-think my career plan so it's more than a little nerve-racking.

Don't worry about that. You won't get thrown in head first interviewing clients until you've done a HELL of a lot of training. I didn't interview anyone for a good 9 months after I started. The training is fab so please don't worry :)

  • About that nhs letter, I think they check gp lists and send it out to people of a certain age. Me and my housemates got them, all of us (and I am the only girl)

  • I've got a real bad phobia of giving birth and lots of other stuff that I've heard that happens, so I decided a while ago that it wasn't gonna happen until I stopped feeling sick at the thought of it.

  • @ immoral_angeluk - That's good to know, I just kept having flashbacks to the horrible Boots interview I had once where they expected me to have product and floor organisation knowledge before they even offered me the job. Needless to say, I didn't get it. :)

@ Blackruby - none of my housemates got one! :D I'd feel better if they did, we could've had a laugh about it. They must only send them if you've been to the doctor's recently.
