Luc,
I had 1 sweep with DD (and midwife told me I was 2 cm dialated and would go 'any second' LIE! 10 days later...)
I has 2 sweeps with DS. AGain, NADA. They are fine, don't hurt or anything-just feel a bit strange. After second sweep with DS I went out to the car and cried and cried and called my midwife and said 'If you dont get this baby OUT OF ME I WILL DO IT MYSELF!' (well, there was a bit more swearing involved-and sobbing) And I meant it. I was booked in for induction 3 days later-and it worked.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Woo!
Do you work for the cab or are you volunteering? I've just sent a message to my local branch last night to ask about volunteering opportunities. I want to work for them after uni so getting on their volunteering program is pretty much a must. Do you have any advice you could give me on what I should do in order to be accepted to volunteer for them? Any tips whatsoever would be great.

I'm a volunteer. you'll go along to an interview. All you have to need is the willingness to learn and help others, and to be able to commit to min 6 hours a week and they ask that you're with them min 2 years once you're trained to recoup the cost of the certificate course you do while training as it's industry recognised and a lot of time and effort goes into it by yourselves and the bureau.ghostmadlittlemiss wrote: »Do you work for the cab or are you volunteering? Sneaky !!!!!! ehh, how to hit a girl where it hurts
Luc, it's not going wrong hun. You're carrying a big lump of a bean round, your body is working hard to keep it warm etc. You're bound to feel a bit rough towards the end.
Has the midwife given you any idea how big bean is?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Technically I didn't 'flash' the bin men, they just saw slightly more that was polite at that time of day!
Although the postman yeah, he did pretty much get a full frontal (top half only though!). He's never been the same since, poor guy!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
