  • Yeah, probably.......I went for a full sti screen before I had my implant put in, not coz I thought I had anything but just so I could positively say I didn't.

    Luc - tell me to keep my nose out but if you don't want a sweep, don't have one - I had 3 over 10 days so I assure you I am not biased but they do come with risks which could have the opposite result of what you want - i.e. more intervention - the risk is that your waters break prematurely without labour starting, if this happens they tend to only let you have 3 days before induction - also slight risk of infection I think.

    I was very enthusiastic about having my sweeps - because I wanted labour to start obviously! and while they didn't hurt, I'd rather go to the dentist, and I would never have another one done.
