Happy birthday Orchid today and to Sylhpraven for yesterday.

Had another £10 am\zon voucher this morning from Bingoports, I am saving them up now towards Christmas if I can without dipping in.

Also had another email from Littlewoods bingo where I do the free scratchcard to say they had free bingo today. Thought I would have a go lol there are currently 682 players in the room I am in haha all playing for £5 a line and £10 a full house and most are sharing. Think I'll stick to good old Bingoports instead.

Havent really been out much so not got any good bargains for a while, will probs be going to the Range again tomorrow with OH, hopefully he will buy some bits so I can save my money lol. As for his 30 presents, I bought one of those breathe right kind of packs to see if it can stop his loud snoring lol. Only 4 more to get now one of which will be a large bar of Galaxy so 3 more to find.

Have finished knitting a few more bits, all the grandsons now have 2 zip up cardigans each and I finished a cardigan for my eldest daughter too. Am on the last sleeve of a lacy bedjacket for ex MIL which is taking ages as I have to make the biggest size to fit her.

My eldest daughter has had trouble with her landlord and agent letting the house to her for years, the place is really bad, no hot water working, the cooker should be condemed, the electric wires in the cupboard under the stairs are all over the place near the meter, water leak on the floor in the kitchen and the place is running alive with mice. She has had the council round and they told her the landlord/agents would have to find her anothe rproperty to live in as the house needed gutting but that was a couple of months ago and she hadnt heard anything. Well yesterday I sent a stinking email to the council then on a whim I sent a copy to the estate agents telling them if they dont do something soon I was going to go to the papers and the local tv news. Within 5 minutes of sending the email the agent was on the phone and said he had miraculously just found a place that she should be able to move into and he was going to try to get the keys by Monday!!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed for her, she has 3 young children there with her and she is terrified of the mice, my grandsons have to put chairs in the kitchen for her to walk on as she is scared to walk on the floor.

Thats all for now ladies, catch you soon xx

The Past Times sale is online, and on their homepage there is a 15% off your first order code.

Edit: but their website is being clunky and horrible.

Oooh, I didn't notice! Happy birthday Sylphraven for yesterday and orchid for today!

Just spent 50 on the Past Times website on bits of things for my beloved's Christmas present and a 1930s style ring for me (because I wanted it, damn it all, and I need presents too!). I got him toys for the office and a couple of books and am now considering the "good" gift to add to his little pile of tat gifts. Hmmmm.

My old landlord's an utter !!!!!! as well. He's finally resigned to me moving out, since there's a new tenant moving in, but is claiming that I broke the sofa and a picture frame. The sofa he pointed out was broken when I moved in, and the picture frame was secured by a piece of twine that wore through and fell on the bed. He was lucky I wasn't lying under it! I'll be lucky to get half my deposit back, the man's such an arris.

In agony still, but have took some painkillers so just waiting for them to kick in a bit. OH has gone out today so I can have a relatively easy stay in the house day! Although have housework to do.
I am going to see this week out, then phone and demand appointment with my own doctor, but if he says the same as the others then I will kill him

    How are you?

I ordered card candy last night :T

I'm fine thanks ;) What colour candy did you go for? They are brilliant value cos there are about 250 pieces in a pack so they go a long way. Make sure you don't overdo things, the housework can wait I'm sure. Am loving the cards you've been making, they are all fab :D Are they for you to give or are you going to look at selling some? Sorry, think I've already asked this on the card thread :p

Rusty - ignore the housework - if the Good Lord had felt it that important you'd have been born with a hoover in your hand...............:rotfl:

Woke with a panic this morning -OH going nuts -he'd lost his wallet with all his cards in, bit of cash etc. Last place he went was newsagents for lottery ticket - rang them up and they'd got it -thank goodness there's some honest folk about.

Threw my day totally -not used to waking up with a start like that so all I've done is finish off my Balls for Life (did a scroll with the verse on as its a bit long.......stuck it on some pretty paper so it looks ok.
Then found some cord to tie round my blocks of wood -another 'silly' pressie:

Instructions: 1) Place on the floor
    2) Walk around it two times
    3) Rest................you've walked around the block twice !

I'd printed out the instructions before printed decided to take a break thank goodness .

    Have a good day all:j
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
