Sugarspun I have everything crossed for you and sending you big hugs. xxxShelley3774 wrote: »We have no problems paying our very big mortgage and bills but OH hasn't had any overtime for a few months and we've got a lot going out at mo!!! I know I shouldn't moan about paying for luxuries as some people are having much worse problems than us but I do get stressed about it.
Can anybody suggest anything else online i can do to make a bit extra?
Sorry to moan about trivial things girls but i am now getting set to list on Ebay x
Hi Shelley,
Ebay is your best bet, Most of the money I have made in this months challenge has been off there. Jammy raised my target to £500 and I need another £170ish and it has only been week 1. I do surveys with just the answer, one poll, toluna (very hard going) we stick to a meal plan and find the cheapest bits we need for shopping on offer even if it means we need to go to several places. Sell as many cakes as you can etc. I know it probably sounds strange but for me this challenge has been fab. I have physical amounts written down infront of me.
Well my son has had a brilliant afternoon, he has overcome his biggest fear .... Riding his bike without stabilisers. We spent half an hour up the back lanes and he can do it but still needs to practiseI was very proud of him ... however he wouldn't even try without a little bribery and also knee and elbow pads :rotfl:

Thanks Rusty I will try and give ebay a go the only thing is when i did a sort out the other day most of the kids stuff had bits missing etc. They don't look after anything!!!!! Trying to think of things I can sell now Lol. Luckily I have the nappy cakes to fall back on and have 2 going out this week. Could kick myself for not paying off the sofa at the time and wasting the monies :mad::mad::mad:Little Miss Chatterbox

Shelley - Bingo port is easy and free but can only claim amazon vouchers (but you could sell these on eBay for cash if you don't want to save them for presents)

I'm in Amsterdam waiting for my connecting flight.
My grandmother's pacemaker has failed and her kidneys are shutting down. It's now a race: Easyjet, a dodgy hospital and me versus a set of 93 year old kidneys and a broken machine. Hopefully I'll win it.
Just read your post......
thinking of you and sending you my best wishes at this difficult time xxx0 -

Good morning to everyone and the wee baby b's.....may there looks improve soon!
It's Friday.....kids finish school early today for the easter holidays, 2 weeks off school.
I am working next week but off the following and we are off to sunny(we hope) France for baguettes and delicious French butter and croissants and delicious French jam and pain au chocolat and mmmmmm yummy things like that! The euro is absolutely pants at the moment,it's worth about 90p, a couple of years ago it was about £1.60.
I will be Mrs organised next week and go into list overdrive! and have piles for packing....love it!
But before that is a day at work, a weekend of hospital procedures for untidy 12 year old which ,not that she enjoyed before, but now hates!
I have a house that could be stirred so need to do some tidying but that can wait till I come in from work.
have a good Friday (ha ha that's next week) whatever you are doing and whoever you are with......live for today x0 -
