Afternoon Ladies:hello::hello:
Been to the vets this morning but our vet is not in until this afternoon so we are not having Abbie put to sleep today. Dad is back in work 12 hrs all work and would rather it was Mon or Tues next week. I hate all the agony but at least we will have some quality time with her this week. Although she was struggling to get out of her basket earlierDad said her breathing was odd last night too she was gasping
I'm trying to enjoy what little time we have with her.
I keep looking at our other dog Lola (she is a sharpei) and wondering if she will live as long as Abbie somehow I doubt it as the breed as so many problems
Goochie - You deserve a lovely lie in and good luck with the job hunting - the weather does make everything seem better though doesn't it??
Scattymam - I can't wait to find out I have a very funny feeling we will be hearing the virtual patter of tiny feet soon
Mystery shopping sounds great Rusty and great way to earn some more pennies. If you love shopping it must be great so I would probably love it:D
Briefly reading through the posts everyone seems so busy I'm tired reading it all :rotfl:
Jamtart - I think I am going to bake cakes to give to my Mum and Nan on Mothers day. Mum's favourite is carrot cake and I might do a victoria sponge for Nan - never done them before but fancy having a go.
Hels - I love Slimming World but just cannot get the weight off. You have to be organised on it though so perhaps thats where I'm going wrong.
Just cleaned my car inside and out so its gleaming - it only gets done about once a year and I was ashamed:o:o:o:o as the sun was shining I had no excuse. Must be something in the air as OH has just got the ladders out and is cleaning the windows!!!!!!!!!! We have a 3 storey house and cannot get a window cleaner so this is a real novelty :rotfl:

rusty I have been offered two mystery shops since I signed up. not been able to do them though:( . the first came through whilst I was out all day so I missed it and the second was somewhere miles away I have never been to! hope more suitable ones come along soon! well done on your ebaying, mobile phones etc. OH has to take all the photos and videos off ours before they are sent to love2recycle. will have to nag him to do it soon.
shelley thinking of you in the next few days. my parents have just been staying with their 14 year old lab. she is still fairly active but if she walks alot she limps the next day. It is very sad to see her limping about and walking so slowly. but she seems very happy though! you just know when they get old they won't go on forever:(saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

RustyFlange wrote: »Scattymam I have done mystery shopping for years, although stopped for a few years cause it was just impossible. I started up again just under a year ago. I only do it for the one company now but I managed to get 3 or 4 a month which is normally about £30-£40. you have to be quick though. as soon as there is a job in your area they email you and you have to drop everything to get that job or someone will nab it
(that someone is normally me
) although you would be covered in a different area. as for tax credits, I have never told anyone I was doing them? presumed it was so little it wouldn't matter anyway and it is not a guaranteed income
... right now it is one of our only 2 incomes so any jobs are a nesecity (we don't get any dole/tax credits/ etc)
The company I use is here: Grass Roots
Edit: No you don't have to claim your earnings, they have a 24 hour period after you do the job to email back your results but that is easy enough. They also have 2 payment dates a month 1st of the month and then the 15th of the month. It is just paid straight into your bank account with no problems
I've just appliedI was with another company ages ago and failed to pass the Pizza Hut online exam that they made you do before being able to accept an assignment. My OH thought it was hilarious that I failed but my argument was that I was trying to do the stupid test whilst keeping DS2 entertained at the same time, he was a little baby and it was difficult. Please don't think bad of me, I'm not thick really...
I made £6 with Valued Opinions last week. I know lots of you don't get on with them but I like them
I do online mystery shopping with this company and do pretty well with them.
Got bids on 3 of my 27 ebay items already :T 6 days still to go... Not going to make me a millionaire but every bit helps right:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I know, so it was just you and me bidding, us sad, err, I mean organised types looking for Xmas bargainsI pronmise to make you lots and lots of little reindeer, a whole community
I bid, won and paid for something on ebay in February and it didn't arrive. I've emailed the bl**dy seller twice and have heard nothing. I raised a Paypal dispute but have heard nothing back. How do I get my money back? Can I get my money back or do I just chalk it up to experience? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
